Zuranolone for post natal depression

Zuranolone is a new class of drug for post natal depression. It is manufactured by the US company Biogen. ‘

It is a neuroactive steroid that is taken in the evening with a fatty meal for just fourteen days.

It has been licenced in the UK after two placebo controlled trials which showed significant improvement over placebo.
